For the first time ever, through our Bootmaker’s Reserve program, you have the opportunity to design and order your own one-of-a-kind custom western boots, tailor-made to your exact specifications by our skilled artisans.

From vamp and shaft leathers to silhouette, stitch designs, and colors, every choice in creating the perfect boot is yours to customize to your specifications. Each step of the way, your boot will be expertly cut and sewn to fit your unique measurements for a boot that’s as individual as you.

Step 1: Get the Perfect Fit

Our expert designers will collect your precise measurements to craft boots designed specifically for the unique contours of your feet and calves, for a true custom fit that’s exclusively yours.

Step 2: Select Your Leathers

Choose from exotic leathers, such as ostrich, caiman and pirarucu, or traditional smooth cowhide to create a unique look for your custom boots. Whichever ones you choose, your boots will be crafted from the finest leathers in the world.

Step 3: Choose Your Shaft Height

Select the desired boot type and height from our choice of options, then customize your boots’ profile with your choice of a traditional western scalloped or straight ‘stovepipe’ topline.

Step 4: Pick Your Stitch Pattern

Whatever you envision - a traditional flame stitch, roper stitch, floral, vine or feather stitch, even a wingtip or toe medallion – it’s possible with our extensive stitching design options. All custom embroidered in your favorite color combination for a one-of-a-kind impression.

Step 5: Select Your Toe, Heel and Sole

Complete the silhouette with your choice of toe shape, heel height, and heel type for your boots, and decide whether you’d like a leather or rubber sole.

The Man Behind the Boots

Bootmaker Rodney Ammons boasts a rich history and expertise in designing world-class boots. Rodney has amassed an extensive understanding of boot making, dating back to the early 1970s and continuing on to this day, and has garnered a reputation as a master in the field. He’s collaborated with world-renowned bootmakers and designers and has developed an expansive network of tanneries and suppliers.

Rodney started Ammons Boots in 1984, and after two decades in El Paso and the subsequent expansion to Nashville, he joined Tony Lama in 2010 and started his work on the esteemed Signature Series, characterized by premium materials and unparalleled artistry. Rodney has designed boots for a number of notable figures such as: Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Tanya Tucker, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Dennis Quaid, and countless others.
